Michelle was a lover of the gentler things in life–gardening (she’d rather create a whole new garden than mow more lawn), reading, painting and Scottish country dancing. And she loved her cats. She’ll be remembered for all the wonderful help she gave to struggling families over a long and dedicated career as as occupational therapist.
She’s left behind as her legacy grateful children and their families, and an abundance of flowers everywhere.
Her family will miss her.
I had the honour to work alongside Michelle when she worked as an OT at the Queen Alexandra Centre. She was an excellent therapist. Her kind, gentle and creative nature inspired those who worked with her. She was a beautiful artist and gardener and shared her love of art and gardening with us bringing beautiful bouquets, fruits and vegetables from her garden and painting the most spectacular cards for us on birthdays or for special milestones. She saw possibility, enabled ability and saw beauty in all things. She will be missed. Sending my condolences.
Michelle was very active and an enthusiastic Scottish Country Dancer.
Although it has been a few years, since she attended classes and dances, Her smiling face and pleasant manner will continue to be missed.
I am so sorry for your loss
