Sharron left this world peacefully at age 71, surrounded by family, the afternoon of July 23, 2021 at Victoria General Hospital.
Sharron will be fondly remembered and missed by her sons Richard Ryan and Jed Bruce; daughter KM; siblings Bruce, Madeline (Ian), Bill, Tom (Marlene) and Dennis; stepfather Pete Meservia; many cousins and extended family; and friends, especially Cliff and Nola West.
She is predeceased by her beloved mother Dorothy and sisters Jane and Deb.
Sharron was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on September 17, 1949, daughter of Gerald and Dorothy Ryan. She grew up in Victoria.
Sharron was very much a cat person and loved and fostered several fur babies (Cutie, Diva, and others), and her dog Oscar.
She volunteered in palliative care; acted in a local play; loved Christmas, Elvis, and Barbara Streisand; enjoyed crafts (beadwork, knitting and crochet, etc.); and collected costume jewellery. She will be remembered for her sense of humour, sharp wit and kindness.
