Norah Lynne Ewing (Lynne) – nee Rendell

Norah Lynne EWING
June 16, 1941 – Feb. 21, 2022

Much-loved sister, wife, mother, grandmother. An accomplished public servant; avid gardener; volunteer; and 34-year breast cancer survivor. A truly good and kind person who was beautiful inside and out.

After years as an executive assistant in Canada and Botswana, participated in a Returning to Learning program, getting her BA and MA in Geography. For the better part of two decades, was the province’s expert on offshore oil.

Volunteered extensively with local garden groups such as the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific and VIRAGS; served as President of the Victoria Horticultural Society.

Dearly missed by husband John, son Patrick, daughter Samantha, son-in-law Stephen, and grandsons Cameron and Kinnear. She also leaves behind four sisters – Peggy, Jackie, Debbie, and Ruth – and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers, these charities were close to her heart:
