I am so sorry to hear of Kirk’s passing, we were great friends in Burnaby and beyond, I recall your wedding as if it was yesterday. I was just looking up his address to say hello since my son has moved to Kamloops. I am so sorry I won’t get to see him again.
Diane and family I am so sorry to hear of Kirk’s passing. I was probably the first member he worked with in Burnaby after he arrived from training. He was a kind hearted, gentle soul. I remember the first call he and I went on. I am so sorry for your loss. I would appreciate if you could contact me I have something I would like to share Jerry Forst
Diane, Kate, and Alan.
There are no words to describe how sad and devastating the news about Kirk’s passing was to me. My heart goes out to you all and I am so very sorry for your loss and indeed everyone’s loss.
As my trainer and first partner he taught me that a good heart is the biggest tool to becoming a great police officer and making a difference. I always tried to live up-to those words of wisdom. His love of family and dry sense of humour will always be be with me.
He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Kirk and I worked together in Burnaby on GIS. He was a wonderful Man, generous co-worker and a very smart investigator. Best of all, he ALWAYS made me laugh! He was the best!
So very sorry for your family’s loss Diane. Kirk stands out for me as one my favourite bosses during my service. A wonderful sense of humour, easy smile and a reliable steady hand when appropriate. You are in our thoughts at this sad time.

Heartfelt thoughts to Diane, Kate, Alan and all the family. I remember Kirk as being such a kind, kind person always with a smile and a sense of humor. Many memories of you all from when the kids were in elementary school here in Kamloops. Hugs to you and your family. Wishing you the best in this tough time.
I am so very sorry for you loss. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
Our thoughts are with you Diane and family. I have very fond memories of Kirk when both helped with scouting in Kamloops. The Kayak trip especially and never forget the barking spiders. I hope Kirk can rest well and join a wonderful campfire with those that have gone ahead, with stories aplenty till we can join them. Hugs all round, take care of each other and be well.- Roxy & Bruce Morley Kamloops
Very occasionally and only if we are fortunate, we cross paths with a truly exceptional person in our journey through life. Kirk fit the bill in every sense. He was an amazing family man and a true friend who will be greatly missed. Thanks you Kirk for your friendship and for the example you set for those of us who met you.
