Wilkinson, William Paul (Billy)
November 8, 1968-February 18, 2023
Predeceased by his step-father Bert in January 2023 and his sister Kim in May of 2020. Survived by his loving mother Sharron and sister Ann-Marie (Darrell) as well as his nieces Jessica (Kelsey), Chelsea and nephews Philip (John) and Greg (Lauren).
Billy had the soul of an artist, a poet and a dreamer. He loved the beaches and the ocean and all animals.
Billy was a kind caring young man, he accepted his cancer diagnosis with dignity, but was unable to conquer it.
Billy had many friends in Victoria but mainly on Salt Spring Island where he lived.
Special thanks go to Josina Ettema, she was always there for him, a very special friend for years.
Thanks to the wonderful staff at Lady Minto Hospital in Salt Spring who helped Billy be as comfortable as he could during his last days.
There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
