It is with great sadness the family of John Cornelius Barton announces his passing on April 2, 2024 at the age of 90. He will be missed by his son, Robert Barton and daughter Elizabeth Roberts (Barton), granddaughter, Kelsey Barton, grandson, Thomas Roberts and great-grandson, Eric Roberts. He will also be missed by his many friends and the wonderful community of his beloved Pender Island. An intimate gathering will be held at a later date on Pender Island.

Respectful, caring, and accommodating

I met Leslie the day after my sweet Dad passed away. She was sensitive, respectful, caring, and accommodating.

The service she gave us from start to finish has been above and beyond, with her personally delivering a second urn to us one year later that should have been picked up by another family member.

I have come away from the whole experience with one final thought, I wish my Dad could have met her when he was alive, he would have enjoyed her too!
