Gerald McDonald (dad pops) was a very intelligent man that knew everything there was to know about everything, from all types of vehicles to building houses. Whenever there was a question to be answered all, I had to do was call dad. He loved us kids deeply and even though he never said it out loud his Birthday/ Christmas Anniversary cards said exactly how he felt. He never missed sending out the cards or even hand delivered them.
Dad worked hard in life to provide for his family. He built our home in Shawnigan Lake by himself and his home in Coombs and even rebuilt our first cars. Dad (Gerry) will be missed by everyone that knew him. Dad is and will always be missed by his children Elizabeth (husband Robert, grandchild Taylor) Thomas (grandchildren Chase, Tyson, Dawson)
