Carol Elaine Harvey

Carol Elaine Harvey

On Thursday, December 31, 2020, Carol Elaine Harvey loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away suddenly, but peacefully at the Royal Jubilee Hospital surrounded by the caring nursing staff and doctors.

Carol was born, April 3, 1942 in Victoria, B.C. to parents Francis and Mildred Green. She is predeceased by her parents and daughter in-law Julie. She is survived by her loving husband Robert, two children, Michael (Dennise), David (Andrea), and grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew, Jarod, Cameron, Nicholas and Devon, sister Barbara and brother Donald.

Carol and Robert were married in Victoria in 1964. Carol completed her registered nurse training at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria where she made life-long friends. She was proud of the work she did as a RN, but she adored her family and decided to leave nursing so she could spend more time at home. Carol had an affinity for book-keeping and a love of animals so when their children were older she spent time working at veterinary clinics. Robert also shared her love of animals and they both enjoyed their time with many of their beloved pets over the years.

Carol was a kind, compassionate and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She treasured and embraced time with family and especially loved her role as Nana. She enjoyed gardening, walks in nature, and visiting various places in Canada and the U.S. Carol will be dearly missed by her family and friends and her infectious laugh and beautiful eyes will be in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Bob and family. We are sorry for your loss. Carol was a great lady! We shared many laughs over coffee in the Kitimat days. We had coffee together at least once a week taking turns at each other’s house. The kids would play together, got us through the long winter months…You are a close family, so have many fond memories. Rest In Peace Carol.
