Donald Henry Love

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Donald Henry Love on December 03, 2024, at 9:58pm in North Saanich BC.

Don is a 16-year cancer survivor who constantly fought to enjoy life, and indeed he did. Spending time with his wife, Tess, camping, fishing and spending time outdoors together or simply playing cards and games at home.

Don’s favourite things to do were moose hunting, fishing, dancing, country music, beer and occasionally a whiskey or two….and spending time with loved ones.

Don served his country in the Navy in the position of Radar Plotter. He was a maintenance man for Kiwanis Village, and he was also a realtor for many years. Don also owned and operated a motel in Merritt BC.

Most recently Don became president of ANAF in Sidney BC. where he was loved, respected and he felt proud to serve.

Don is survived by his wife, Tess, sons Matthew and Scott, daughter Sarah and husband Chris, and grand children Hailey and Jacob.
