Landry, Jennifer (Elaine)
March 10, 1959 – May 19, 2022
It is with profound sadness that the family announces Elaine passed away suddenly at Victoria Jubilee Hospital on March 19, 2022. Just months after her 63 birthday, she was taken too early from us. Elaine was born in Sackville N.B. where she lived most of her life. Elaine enjoyed her working years with many friends as a CCA at the Drew NH, and then later endeavored in new journeys with Amazon and UPS. She is predeceased by her loving parents Edmond and Norma (Le Blanc) Landry; her sisters Clara-Ann and Marilyn; her infant brother Jason Troy; her paternal grandparents William and Florida (Richard) Landry; and her maternal grandparents Leo and Clara (Caissie) Le Blanc. She is survived by many family members that she loved dearly in New Brunswick: her son Cory Sears, Midgic N.B.; her sisters Diane Jakubiec, Sackville N.B.; Tammy (Vernon) Phinney, Timber N.B.; her brothers Layton (Debbie) Hannah, Midgic N.B.; Gerry (Brenda) Landry, Point de Bute; and David Landry, Point de Bute N.B.; several nieces and nephews; and her very sweet great nephew Warren (Becky Connor Walton) of Port Elgin.
In Victoria BC: her very devoted and loving partner Joe, and daughter Bobbi-Jo.
Elaine will be sadly missed by her family and friends whose lives she touched. She was a kind and loving person who appreciated time connecting with family/friends, painting rocks to gift, drives to the ocean, bingo and yard sales.
At Elaine’s request, there will be a private committal for the family and close friends at Point de Bute Cemetery where she will rest with her parents. A special thank you to all staff and friends at Victoria Kidney Care Clinic; many other staff at Royal Jubilee Hospital; and attendants, along with fellow patrons of Victoria Regional Transit for caring for Elaine over the last few years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria Kidney Care Clinic, Heart and Stroke Foundation or any other charity of your choice. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.victoriasimplycremations.com
sorry to the family for your loss
