It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorna A. Mackinnon. Predeceased by both her parents, Jock and Mickey. Lorna leaves to mourn, her spouse Rob, siblings Carol and John, children Matthew and Sondra, step children Carrie, Kevin and Jeremy, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved grandchildren.

Lorna worked as a bus driver for School district 63 for over twenty years. She will always be fondly remembered by her co-workers, teachers, former students and their families. Lorna was a kind hearted and generous person who helped out in her community wherever she saw the need. She rarely said no to a request for help and many people over the years have been lucky enough to have her in their life when times were tough. Lorna had a love of country music, dancing, horses and country living. Her children and grandchildren were her ultimate joy. We will all miss her laughter and delight at any musical or singing toy. She loved a good recipe and to cook for others. She had an open heart and an open mind and was always willing to try anything once. Her strength of character will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
