Notarized Copies of Death Certificate Program

Notarized Death Certificates

$40 for the initial copy

$10 for each additional copy

$35 administrative fees (coordination by funeral home staff for delivery of original death certificate to local firm and collection of notarized copies)

Taxes will be added

As per the mandate set by BC Vital Statistics, no funeral homes in British Columbia may issue notarized/certified copies of the original death certificate. Notarized copies must come from a lawyer or notary. Simply Cremations has coordinated this service with a local firm at the price points noted above. You are also welcome to utilize the services of your own notary or lawyer for obtaining notarized death certificate copies.

Respectful, caring, and accommodating

I met Leslie the day after my sweet Dad passed away. She was sensitive, respectful, caring, and accommodating.

The service she gave us from start to finish has been above and beyond, with her personally delivering a second urn to us one year later that should have been picked up by another family member.

I have come away from the whole experience with one final thought, I wish my Dad could have met her when he was alive, he would have enjoyed her too!
