Our beautiful Nonni passed away peacefully on December 1st, 2023. She was born on April 18th, 1935 in France and grew up in Mortegliano, Italy. She married Vaniglio Cossaro in 1955 and immigrated to Canada in 1956. Olga’s family is what she lived for, her children Loretta Khouri (George), Stefano Cossaro (Marilyn), her grandchildren Melissa Cossaro (Lee), Demis Khouri (Jules), grandson Owen, Elias Khouri (Anastasia), Aaron Khouri, and Alyesha Khouri (Mark). Olga’s sister and extended family in Italy also mourn this loss. Her grandchildren and family were her pride and joy, they called her Nonni and she was most certainly loved by them all. Olga was happiest cooking in her kitchen and in her garden; she had such a green thumb and could make a twig take root!

Nonni will be cremated and her ashes will be laid to rest at Royal Oak Burial. The date will be set when the family can be all together in order to honour her memory with the respect that she deserves.

We love you Nonni, rest in peace with your family, friends, and many pets while you watch over us all.
