1952 – 2024
Stan (Charlie) Medwid passed away peacefully at the age of 72. Stan will be lovingly remembered by his friend “Bill”. He will also be remembered by his sisters Shirley (Eldon), Mae, brother Victor (Maureen). Plus, many nieces, nephews, and many friends. Stan was predeceased by his parents Steve and Alice Medwid, brothers Edward, Cecil, Jerry, Richard, Donald, and sisters Joyce, Stella, Elsie, Ann, Jean, and Niece Dianna. Special thanks to the Palliative Care at Saanichton Peninsula hospital. Plus, my special friends Doris and Randy who have supported me through this time. Stan was the youngest of 14 siblings. He would offer his help no matter what but was quiet and stayed to himself. We love you and will carry you in our hearts always. A private Family Celebration of his life will be held in Kamloops or area. Date unknown at this time. Donations in Stan’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers.
