Terrence Dale Budden

In Loving Memory of
Terrence Dale Budden
February 21, 1946- August 4, 2022

Terry Budden was born in Vancouver, BC on February 21, 1946. Predeceased by his parents George & Leona and brother Barry (Lil). He is survived by his wife of 55 years Diane, daughter Nadine (Wayne), son Bruce and granddaughter Jordyn.
Terry grew up in Youbou but also lived in several places up and down the island. As a young man he got a job on a Norwegian freighter and saw a lot of the world. Everywhere he went, Terry made friends.
Throughout his life Terry enjoyed playing and watching many different sports. In his retirement years Terry was very active at the golf course. He also loved watching his granddaughter play softball.
Thank you to the staff and volunteers at Broadmead Lodge for their kindness & compassion where he passed away with his wife by his side.

Dear Diane and Family. I am so sorry to hear of Terry’s passing. I have so many memories of Terry and his family. Our parents were such great friends. I was in Terry’s class in elementary school while growing up in Youbou. I treasure attending your wedding with my Mom and Dad and George and Lea. I also treasure Gord and my visits with you and Terry when you lived in Port Hardy and then Port McNeil. They were so long ago…where did the time go. All the best and tons of love to you all. I know I am speaking for all of the Clements family. Bless you all.

Linda, Lorna and Gary Scott are so very sorry to hear about the loss of Terry. He was such a great guy and I wished I would have known where he was in Victoria too. So sad to lose Barry and Lil and now Terry. So much grief for the family, so very sorry. We were all raised in Youbou and knew each other so well. Sorry again to the family, it’s the ones that are left who hurt so much. xoxo

    To Diane,
I am very sorry to hear of Terry’s passing. While we didn’t have contact over the years I am glad I saw him at one of the school reunions. I remember when he and I coached/managed the all star baseball team together as well as our both being in elementary school and later as friends in Youbou. I wanted to contact him when Barry passed but did not know where you and Terry were. I am sorry for that. Please take care Diane and my most sincere condolences.
    Bob Moir
